Pursuit Cycles - Carbon Fiber Bikes

Posted by Carl Strong on Jan 31, 2017 6:04:05 AM

Welcome to Pursuit Cycles. This post is kicking off what will be the first of many more for years to come. We plan to post at least every week and will cover subjects ranging from carbon fiber bike design, manufacturing and technology, to travel and rides. We'll also share stories about our beautiful town, Bozeman MT, the birth place of Pursuit Cycles. This Blog is broken into 4 topics; Happenings, Tech, Experience and Made In Bozeman. Please feel free to comment and let us know if there are anything you'd like us to write about.

I'll try to keep you up to date on what's happening here at Pursuit Cycles; new product development, shows, events and even some of our more interesting daily activities.

For you tech geeks out there our Director of Engineering, Jared Nelson will be writing about all things technical; carbon fiber bicycle design, composites manufacturing, composites materials technology, bicycle frame design optimization, testing, etc.

Our Product Tester Bill Cochran will be writing about his experiences riding all over the world. From famous Tour De France stage routes, climbs and descents to California wine country ribbon roads. Oh, and if you like wine and great food, he probably has a little something to say about that as well.

Made in Bozeman

Finally Loretta Strong will be posting a series of interviews/profiles with local manufacturers. If you're wondering how it is that some of the best carbon fiber bicycles on the planet come from a little mountain town in Montana, learning more about our grassroots manufacturing culture may shed some light on that fact. She'll be interviewing companies that make everything from guitars, ski bindings, fishing reels and waders to bike parts, whiskey, optics and laser diodes right here in Bozeman MT.

Thanks for reading!
